The Wireless Portable FastDAQ is a device designed for field use in geotechnical engineering and structural engineering. It is equipped with a rechargeable battery that allows for 8 hours of continuous use on a single charge.
The data logger can be connected to various sensors, such as LVDTs, loadcells, strain gauges, total earth pressure cells, and piezometers, to collect data in the field. The data can then be transmitted via Bluetooth to an Android mobile phone or laptop in .CSV format, making data logging in the field easy and reliable. The data logger is fixed in a hardened-plastic rugged case, which makes it easy to carry and use in harsh field environments.
