CrackTracer - CrackTracers
The CrackTracer system can be used for numerical tracking of geo and structural elements prone to deformation. It is a monitoring system that can be installed in minutes to monitor deformation in beams, columns, retaining walls, tunnel linings, natural and artificial slopes and more in real time.
CrackTracer is a robust deformation tracking system with an accuracy of 0.1% of capacity. No expertise required for setup and operation, a novice user can start taking readings in minutes thanks to the plug-and-play design with LCD readout.
CrackTracer is equipped with an innovative snap-on magnet-based referencing system that allows for easy mounting.
Easy Installation and Use
After determining the position of screws and bolts along the dominant deformation axis, CrackTracer is placed and fixed. The reference point is set using magnet bearings and a portable data acquisition system is easily connected. When the unit is turned on, the initial reference displacement reading displayed on the screen is recorded. The same data acquisition as the 9V battery input can also be used to obtain readings from other elements of the CrackTracer array.
