GeoAnts anchor type load cells are carefully manufactured using a 4 half-bridge strain gauge configuration to meet the highest standards and ensure the elimination of effects caused by eccentric loading in the output signal, as well as the natural compensation for temperature variations. GeoAnts offers a flagship model suitable for direct 3x0.6" or 4x0.6" prestressed anchors while providing custom product designs for larger capacities and sizes. Each product shipped is individually calibrated in-house. Load cells are commonly used in measuring loads on steel braces, prestressed ground anchors, rock bolts, and ground nails, as well as in performance testing of deep foundation elements. Typical application areas include deep excavation – support systems, tunnels, improved slopes, superstructures, deep foundations, and bridges. GeoAnts anchor load cells can also be combined with load-bearing steel plates that can be ordered. Measurements can be performed using portable reading units or data loggers produced by GeoAnts.
