We invite practitioners and researchers who want to evaluate risks computationally by performing 2D and 3D analyses with the RocFall2 and RocFall3 software developed for the study of rockfall hazard to our 1-day introductory course.
This course specifically covers:
- Detection and modeling of landslide risks,
- Simulation and analysis of the movements of the body,
will focus on such topics. We invite you to our 1-day course where we will discuss the use of RocFall2 and RocFall3 software used in the numerical analysis of rockfall events, the determination of the necessary parameters for these analyses, how to interpret the data, and fundamental preventive methods, along with our case studies.
The educational content is suitable for all professionals involved in the engineering assessment of areas related to all types of infrastructure investments, including linear structures (highways, railways, etc.), settlement and industrial areas that may be affected by instabilities, open pits in mining areas, and rockfall events that may occur on transportation routes.
